Reading the guides
You can read every guide, borough page and article without giving us any details. The pages are static, so reading them does not create an account or a profile.
The optional enquiry form
If you choose to send an enquiry, the form sends only the fields you submit. These are your name, phone number, postcode and the service you chose. If you add an email address or notes, those go too. We keep them in our lead system and pass them to a pest-control professional, who may contact you about your enquiry.
Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you press send. We keep your details only as long as needed to handle the enquiry. You can ask us to remove them, and the contact page explains how to reach us. Please leave out card numbers, passwords and health details, because the form does not need them.
Counting visits
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits to the site in aggregate. It loads shortly after a page finishes loading, or when you first interact with it. We turn off advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation, we ask Google to anonymise IP addresses, and we do not run adverts. Before the page address is sent, we remove any postcode or service value from it.
External links
Links to the NHS, GOV.UK, councils and other sites open pages with their own privacy rules. Those sites receive nothing from the enquiry form.
Questions
For any privacy question, or to ask for your enquiry details to be removed, use the contact page. Describe what you sent and when, so we can find it.
Sources and further checks
Open each source before you act, because council services, prices, tenancy rules and product labels can change. We list the pages this guide relied on when it was last checked.
